Did you hear the news? The Sunrise Theatre recently rang in its centennial anniversary with a speakeasy celebration. The fundraising event was a roaring good time – what a way to celebrate 100 years of bringing the best in live entertainment to downtown Fort Pierce!

On August 1, 1923, R.N. Pop Koblegard opened the doors of this beautiful 1,200-seat venue, which has been a testament to his vision as Fort Pierce, at the time, was a town of just 2,000 people. Today, the theatre serves over 85,000 patrons and guests annually through its shows, events, and programs on the Treasure Coast.
