Jamie Floer, a public relations expert with more than 25 years of experience working with utilities, currently leads the Communications Team for Toho Water Authority in Kissimmee, Florida, near Walt Disney World in Central Florida. Her professional highlights include building award-winning public relations departments from scratch, leading memorable storytelling/branding efforts and creating dynamic crisis and communications protocols. She is a former utility industry journalist with a degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. While focusing on public relations for the majority of her career, she has led public relations efforts for a national engineering firm and at Orange County (FL) Utilities prior to joining Toho. She earned Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) as well as a Counselor of Public Relations Certification (CPRC) certifications and was inducted in the PRSA College of Fellows in 2022.
