Join the Treasure Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association for our February Membership Meeting, Connecting the PR Dots: Effective Storytelling With Purpose.

Central Florida, the home of world-renowned theme parks, could be called the storytelling capital of the world. It is also home to millions of – and growing – residents who rely on services, including utilities, in their everyday lives. Toho Water Authority (Toho) takes what could be dry, mundane stories and gives them life. During this interactive session, Toho Communications Manager Jamie Floer, APR, CPRC, Fellow PRSA, will share how to tap into storytelling that resonates with audiences and captures their attention.

This presentation will explore how to engage audiences through research-based, dynamic stories. Attendees will be given a step-by-step research-based approach about how to incorporate the twists and turns of story arcs, as well as tips about choosing the best communications channels and keeping the tools consistent while using the appropriate languages will be highlighted. Finally, the presentation will bring home how to capture and demonstrate measurable impact with the target audiences.

Arrive early for a light continental breakfast and a chance to network. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m.
